AFCAT 02/2026 Notification Out – Apply Online

The Indian Air Force has officially released the AFCAT 02/2026 Notification for recruitment in Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches. Interested candidates can apply online from 20 May 2026 to 19 June 2026. AFCAT 02/2026 is a great opportunity for candidates who want to join the Indian Air Force as an officer. Candidates should apply before the last date and start their preparation early to secure a position.

This recruitment is for courses commencing in July 2027, and the AFCAT exam will be conducted on 08 August 2026.

Ground Duty (Non-Technical): 107 Vacancies

GATE Entry (Technical)

·         GATE Score Entry (AE Branch): 26 Vacancies

Educational Qualification

Flying Branch

10+2 with Physics and Mathematics

Graduation in any discipline or BE/B.Tech

Ground Duty (Technical)

Engineering degree in relevant discipline

Ground Duty (Non-Technical)

Graduation/Post Graduation depending on the branch

Selection Process

1. AFCAT Written Examination
2. AFSB Interview
3. Medical Examination

Candidates applying through NCC Special Entry or GATE Entry will be directly called for AFSB.

AFCAT Exam Pattern

Marking Scheme:

• +3 marks for each correct answer
• -1 mark for each wrong answer
